What a joy to be part of The Taylor Swift Effect, a documentary on ARTE exploring the career of the world’s premier pop girly 💁‍♀️ It was a lovely experience to discuss Taylor’s music and cultural impact. I think the documentary really captures the essence of her fandom in a respectful and insightful way.

To be featured alongside such distinguished academics in the field is so exciting (and humbling!). I have read and cited their work on several occasions and I was lucky enough to watch many of them present papers at this year’s Celebrity Studies Conference in Amsterdam, so this was a lovely full circle moment.
