It wasn't a phase, mom. It's 2021, and emo is back! With the rise of acts like Kenny Hoopla and the omnipresence of Travis Barker in the charts, the genre has seen a revival like never before. What started as a subculture in the l980s has crossed over to the mainstream, and I decided to explore this for the gang at ATL Introducing on BBC Radio Ulster!
